Indiana Jones and His Iconic Hat

Everyone loves the iconic character of Indiana Jones, his humor, wit, and his iconic look are recognized everywhere. Including our favorite hat! We dug up some fun facts about our favorite archeologist for your reading pleasure!
1. The original hat, jacket and whip are all on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
2.The rumor that Harrison Ford stapled his hat to his head during filming is untrue. He only pretended to staple it on during the Making of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a gag.
3. Deborah Nadoolman, the costume designer for the films aged the iconic hat by rolling it up, throwing dirt on it, and asking Harrison Ford to sit on it.
4. The original hat was based after a fedora style called "The Poet" and are still sold today for $300 a piece (our version is much more affordable)
5. In a flashback sequence in The Last Crusade, we learn that Indiana Jones got his fedora from a treasure hunter named Garth, who liked Indy's spunk.
